Which 3.0" Touch Screen LCD is best for Arduino?

I've done a bit of research on LCDs around 3.0" in size. It seems that one can never find all he needs to know. I would like minimum hustle LCD, so that it takes minimum number of pins and it has decent Arduino library for easy use. I do not really have time to write Arduino library from scratch and there is no point in LCD taking all the input pins, so none are left for sensors and controls.

Which one would be you recommend?

I've never worked on a touchscreen project yet but can say that the OLED screens are beautiful compared to LCD if you can afford one. In a dark room the OLED has no bright spots or bleeding on the edge or back of the display. If your project will be used in a well lit area then LCD would be just fine and less expensive.

I thought that LCD and LED displays start looking washed out in well lit areas. That OLEDs are best for well lit spaces, because their image intensity and contrast.

This could be. My project uses a 1.7" OLED in a poorly lit to complete dark room so i've never tested ii in a bright area. Each pixel is very bright and crisp with the rest totally black. It's awesome.

Do you have a link? Which OLED did you get?

I picked it up from Sparkfun. The link and a picture of it working is on my site:

One of the guys here (avenue33) has written a library for the 4D-Labs uLCD-32PT so that would help. Also I'm pretty sure there's an OLED version of that display so his library should work on that I would think.

The 4D-Labs uLCD-32PT 3.2" LCD has its own processor, which brings fast graphics and alleviates Arduino's controller. It also packs a speaker for sounds and an SD-card. The only connection required to manage screen, touch, sound and Sd-card is a serial port!

The library provides all the basics and is flexible enough to deal with hardware, software or I2C serial ports.

Enjoy

Could I find small plastic angle like that at say, Hobby Lobby or Lowes? I've looked for plastic sheets like that before but I can't seem to find anything similar where I'm from. How much does it run and do you buy it by the sheet? I've used plexiglass before, but it's a bit expensive.
