Which stepper motor is best suitable to drive a screw jack carrying a load of 5 kgs?
What should be the Torque rating of the motor and which driver can I use?

What is the pitch of the screw? How well lubricated?
Which class is this for? Do we get a good grade if you answer correctly?

Screw jacks usually have enormous friction - but they are not usually required to move quickly.
How will the motor be connected to the screw? I suggest you use a worm-gear for a large gear reduction.
Have a look at Stepper Motor Basics. It includes a simple suggestion for measuring the required torque.

I think you mean a linear actuator, not a screw-jack.
Steppers don't have a torque rating, they have several, and the lowest of them is
the dynamic torque, which depends on speed. So you need to know what speed
you need first.
Is there a reason to need a stepper driven actuator rather than a regular DC motor actuator?
