Wrong resistors killing my HC05 !

regarding to this post : Very weird behaveour of HC05 - Projects / Networking, Protocols, and Devices - Arduino Forum
Post #5 i wired up my hc05 to my nano and then HC05 died !!!!
with 2x 1 kOhms Resistors it kills my HC5 Module ....thanks for that Nikola21 :((((((

i thought i do some good thing to not connect the hc05 directly to the pins (what acually works fine before !!!!!) and now the RX pin is dead .... 10 euros for the bin ....

can i ask the other ones here what causes the damage ? what does 1k + 1k instead of 1k + 2k what is the correct (?) value ?

Сonnection via resistors according to Nikola21's scheme could not lead to damage to the module, neither with resistor values of 2 & 1 k, nor with 1 & 1 k

Most likely, you connected something incorrectly and burned the module yourself

Please show your detail connection diagram, including a power wires, pin numbers, power source specs etc....

mmhhh that is strange because with direct wiring it works and afer it not and as i remove them again it doesnt work either .... i do exact the thing as shown in the diagramm .... maybe theres something other contact problem - its a breadboard prototype thingi  but the information that this wrong capacitor cant lead to a damage is very helpfull !

Are you using a Nano clone with the CH340 like Nikola21 used?

Are you trying to use the RX and TX pins like Nikola21?

You could damage the HC-05

Where is a capacitor mentioned? You're not intoxicated are you?

From 5v:
1k+1K gives 2.5v which is presumably not enough - and not enough to kill it either.
1k+2K gives 3.3v which is as required

You may have found out by now that Bluetooth is not actually dead. That doesn't excuse you from wiring it in the proper manner.

For an accurate answer respond to post 1 by @b707 and supply the schematic. Without that we can only guess as to what you are doing.
