WS2812B One green led lights up

PLEASE I NEED HELP. So I wanted to make underlight for my house stairway but after wiring all the WS2812b,Just one led turns (green led in the photo)not all of them. after a couple of tests,(unplugging most of WS2812B) leaving only 5 stairs (49leds per stairs) I made them work, but If I plug all of them, they dont work.I Have a resistor on the Data line and the wirings are good. But this problems keeps going on all of the codes that I test them.....

Hello gianni_giovanni

Post your sketch, well formated, with well-tempered comments and in so called code tags "</>" to see how we can help.

RED- the positive of the power supply
GREY-The negative of the powersupply also connected to arduino
Green-Data cable conected in series

We’re asking for your code, not a ‘sketch’ !
Although that does help…

Aparently I did more testing, and A Led band didnt continue the data in circuit.Any tips for this?

Check the wiring, obvsly.

Is it one particular strip that won't forward the signal?

If you have no other issues, this can mean a damaged LED at the end of one strip or the beginning of the next strip.

This can also happen in the middle of a strip. One LED fails, and breaks the chain.

The solution is to repair the broken LED or just disconnect it from the signal chain and hop from the dOut of the LED before the broken LED to the dIn of the LED after the broken LED.

After you are convinced that is actually the problem.

It's just one strip.I will try to test the band Friday if it's the wiring or it's a burned led.(Just a led turned on once ,then it stopped)

I have (Data out) Signal from the working band
And in the Next band (posibile to be broken),It gets the signal but when I check the connection in the other end of the possible broken strip,Data out doesn't have signal ,But the 5V is present

Can you use the same tool to see if you have data between the pixels on a strip?

It sounds like the first pixel on the 2nd strip is faulty, I like this theory as it may be explained by a little accident where you damaged it…

Okay everyone,It finally worked, but with one problem. One strip doesn't work cause the data in cable doesn't continue the circuit. After all of this, what can I say is to check your wiring! And don't lose your sanity!.I will try to test the broken data cable with a 9V battery to see if is a led strip or the cable. If anyone have any tips how to test the cable.Tell me and I will try it.Thanks for the the aid given.Love you all <3.
