Hello I'm planning a big project. A 32x32 led grid for school. But I camed across a problem. Regular ws2812b led uses 60ma for a single led but I could not find power consumption of ws2812beco. Does anyone know the power consumption? Thanks for the help.

You have to scroll down to find this:
Each RGB LED draws approximately 50 mA when it is set to full brightness and powered at 5 V. This means that for every 30 LEDs you turn on, your LED strip could be drawing as much as 1.5 A. Be sure to select a power source that can handle your strip’s current requirements.
But the description seems to be for a WS2812B, not a WS2812B eco.

Yes

Hi,
Thank you for the great work you've done. I have a question regarding ledstrip.
I am a beginner but I was able to use a WS2812B ledstrip, as described in the documentation and it works great.
I also have WS2812B Eco and because it has WS2812B in its name, I was hoping it will work also. Maybe, I am missing something but it does not seem to be compatible. The leds turn on but there are all white, I cannot turn them off, change color,....
My configuration is simple, I am using a Wemos D1 and the led strip.
I was wondering if there anything that could be done to make it work ?
Thanks for your help
**Describe the solution you'd like**
I would like to be able to use my ws2812b Eco ledstrip with tasmota.

He calls it just "WS2812E" - not "WS2812B Eco" - and that number does appear on the World-Semi site.
tl;dr: it doesn't look like there's very much difference?

No it consumes 60ma when fully powered. It has 3 led diodes inside each consuming 20 ma on full brightness
