The XCRUN popup really is a frustrating issue with IDE 2.0. Many of us don't have XCode installed (and don't want to as it is huge). The Mac Arduino IDE obviously doesn't require it and it is annoying to have to keep canceling the popup.
I'm sure many of us would be happy to help troubleshoot to reproduce the problem including screen sharing if needed.
Please help.
