Bad Boys: Ride or Die.
Pure crap.
Godzilla Minus One
Watch it! It's fun! Journey of the hero and all that.
Subtitled. Academy award for best visual effects.
American Made starring Tom Cruise. I'm not normally a big Tom Cruise fan but this movie was very entertaining, concerning itself with the true story of 1970s and 80s drug and gun smuggling between America on the CIA dossier and Central American countries.
It has a very "Blow" feeling throughout, another great flick starring Johnny Depp (who is a much better actor, imo).
I'm looking forward to "A Complete Unknown" around Christmas. Maybe not a very factual biopic but the trailer looks good.
SNL was derived from an old 70s comedy called Groove Tube. Worth watching just for the spy movie parody.
'A Complete Unknown'
Nice biopic of Bob Dylan's early life. Movie ends with the start of his electric era at the Newport Folk Festival. Includes his relationship with Seeger, Guthrie, Baez, Al Kooper, etc.
'Don't Look Back'
Next on my calendar:
"The Brutalist"
"The Room Next Door"
I found a three movies in one box deal at Wally World. Jumanji, Goosebumps and Zathura. I got it for Zathura. Written by the guy who wrote Jumanji, and a cut and paste remake. Jumanji in outer space.
Hi,
I watched this the other day.
Very inspiring biopic.
Clair Danes is excellent in it.
About to start, not a movie but a TV series, "The Day of the Jackal" with Eddie Remayne.
On holidays at the moment so I can binge watch.
Happy New Year eveyone.. Tom..
I half-binged that. I loved it and am looking forward to another season.
Just binged the Jason Bourne collection. Had to calm down afterwards with Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance most fowl!
Has anyone watched Puspa 2 bollywood movie. It's amazing.
Wag the Dog - should be in documentary section by now.
Inside Out, yesterday evening:
Ciao, Ale.
I watched A Complete Unknown with the expectation that there would be artistic license. Don't Look Back is a documentary and may give a more realistic version of Dylan since he plays himself.
