2 batteries one charger

Hi,
I have a circuit with 2 batteries connected in parallel - let's say both lithium Ion 1 cell(3.7) charging them with a regular USB 5v charger.
For that obviously I will need a charge protection circuit. The use of the battery is unbalanced meaning one of the them is used more than the other. What is the right way to do this?
I thought of putting a USB connection that is connected to 2 charge circuit, each for each battery, that way each circuit will stop current at its own time. Is it correct?
Thanks.

I would think most multi battery chargers, like for the 18650 batteries, will charge each battery individually.

Yes I'm sure, but I am talking about a regular USB 5v charger, that doesn't have current limit
Thanks.

If the batteries are connected in parallel, then there is no imbalance. There is no 'one of the them is used more than the other'.
They are connected to each other and maintain the same voltage.
You can consider them a single cell of twice the capacity.
