287.8MHz transmitter for Arduino?

For a current project I'm trying to clone my garage door signal to make it "smart". The RF is however on 287.8MHz, which doesn't seem to be very common.

I have read a lot about transmitters in the range of 315-433MHz, or 856MHz, I however want to transmit on 287.8MHz. Any idea where to look for something that can broadcast in that range, which is compatible with Arduino?

Thanks

With such an uncommon frequency, you may struggle to find an off the shelf solution.

Does your garage door have a manual pushbutton? You may be able to tap into that and use an Arduino + an RF module of your choice to simulate a button press.

Claimed to be a "learning remote"

Being curious, I researched and can see that frequency is assigned to the US Coast Gard air/sea rescue service. Probably the device is Chinese made and illegally imported, and has not been caught, yet.

Interesting.. It's from a pretty known brand in Spain, owned by an Italian company. Is this frequency also banned in the EU?

NO frequency is banned. It may be assigned by your government to other services. You will have to check for Spain or the EU countries.

Thanks. That seems pretty clear about the primary users of that frequency. I wonder about enforcement by the individual NATO countries.
