I think there is a problem with the board, but I have confirmed that the LCD works.
So I trying to communicate with LCD with 8080 parallel interface base this data sheet. www.hpinfotech.ro/UC1608.pdf
CS, RES(Reset Pin) set always HIGH.
According the data sheet, When WR at rising edge data sending to LCD and must holding some time after WR reseted.(I don't know what I understand..)
And Its not work...
Some one who good at communication like it give opinion for me.
I need some advice on this. Thank you.
Please confirm that the display works with Codevision libraries. (After all you got the data sheet from HPInfoTech (Codevision) site )
Please attach your .PRJ file. (or a clear wiring diagram that shows AVR, voltages etc.)
Note that UC1608 is a 3.3V Controller. You need level shifters with a 5V Uno, Mega, ...
Oh, I hate this new Forum. I don't want to receive emails if my name is mentioned.
I am happy to help. But I did ask for confirmation of your Codevision version.
It is easy to say yes or no.
The UC1608 datasheet says that logic levels must be < 4.0V. Hence level shifters. Which is painful for parallel.
Surely anyone would use SPI. Much easier. And less level shifting. Which you can always do with resistors if you don't have custom chips.
If you post a link to the actual display that you have bought you would get more accurate replies.

The trouble is - we are basically engineers, not Arts graduates (well, I certainly am not) or journalists.
We are comfortable with solid data. Not unsympathetic, but simply see no point in hearing only how someone feels about a disaster and whether the victim was a nice person, more interested in the details of what actually happened and why.
