Can we use arduino, cnc shield and driver a4988 with stepper motor nema 23 3.5A?

Are you seriously bumping a post less than an hour old?

I'm no expert but my experience with forums (fora?) is that folk answer if they have the know-how and the inclination to answer. It's not like a service desk where your contract guarantees an answer in terms of some SLA.

You should at least let the world turn once so each time zone gets a chance to look at your thread.

NO.

An A4988 is good for about 1.4 amps.

For a 3.5 amp motor I would be looking for a driver than can provide 5 amps. It is never a good idea to run electronic equipment close to its limit. AFAIK none of the stepper motor drivers that can provide 3.5 amps can fit the CNC shield. Of course you could connect them to the CNC shield using wires.
