Absolute wet pressure sensor

Hi im looking to do some pressure waveform simulations with a water pump. Ive been looking for small wet pressure sensors for my setup but cant seem to find any. Would anyone have any suggestions

pressure range is from 5kPa to 30kPa
tubing size diameter ~2.5mm

If you mean fluid pressure, there are countless offerings. What do you mean by "small"?

for a tube size of about 2.5mm

something like this but for liquids

That is a gauge (or "gage") type air pressure sensor (not absolute), so the reading is relative to the ambient atmospheric pressure (average value 101.325 kPa). They are commonly used in washing machines to keep short term track of the water level, via changes in air pressure.

To measure water or other fluid pressure you can buy either gauge (probably what you want) or absolute sensors, but the construction is quite different. Look at some commercial offerings to get an idea of what is available. They are built to last and expensive, but you can look for cheaper, imported versions on Amazon.

Here are two places to start:

way to big for my application (similar sized module referenced above), thanks anyways

Brush up on plumbing! Any air pressure sensor mounted on top of a length of pipe/tube that is vertical will measure the compressed air which equals the water pressure pressing up the tube. Just keep is air tight.
