mech. engineer here with little electro knowledge. Looking for advice from the masters. I am currently installing recessed lighting in my house.
I bought these AC dimmer modules, but there is no call out for N & L on the terminals.
I was hoping to get guidance based on pictures attached. Appreciate all your guys help!
The neutral pin will be common between the ac in and the load. use an ohm meter to check for the short.
The Triack will not show a connection on the load side to any pin.
this image shows the two center terminals connected together which would be your neutral the two outer terminals are the switch.
The two center terminals while available to tie as a pass through you can tap a pigtail off of your neutral and connect to either to provide a zero crossing reference and switching trigger connection this is an approximate schematic of the above component.
