Hello! I am new to adruino. I bought a kit 3 weeks ago and to my surprise when i tried to send a code to the adruino uno r3 It didnt work and it gave me errors. I tried using another cable and port, I watched about 50 youtube videos about how to fix the error but non of them where the solution, I even bought a new adruino uno r3 to see if that was the problem but to my surprise i kept on geting the same errors. At first i thought the laptop was the problem but then i realised that that was imposible because the laptop was very expensive, good quality and even new. I cant find the awnser to this problem and its driving me insane. Here is the error. If any of u manage to figuere out the problem i would really apreciate it. Maybe the problem is my luck. Hi @torbet_loco. I'm going to ask you to post the full verbose output from an upload attempt.
This procedure is not intended to solve the problem. The purpose is to gather more information.
Please do this:
Select File > Preferences... (or Arduino IDE > Settings... for macOS users) from the Arduino IDE menus.
The "Preferences" dialog will open.
Uncheck the box next to Show verbose output during: ☑ compilation in the "Preferences" dialog.
Check the box next to Show verbose output during: ☐ upload.
Click the "OK" button.
Attempt an upload, as you did before.
Wait for the upload to fail.
You will see a "Upload error: ..." notification at the bottom right corner of the Arduino IDE window. Click the "COPY ERROR MESSAGES" button on that notification.
Open a forum reply here by clicking the "Reply" button.
Click the <CODE/> icon on the post composer toolbar.
This will add the forum's code block markup (```) to your reply to make sure the error messages are correctly formatted.
Press Ctrl+V.
This will paste the error output from the upload into the code block.
Move the cursor outside of the code tags before you add any additional text to your reply.

The lack of the blink on reset tells us that the upload failure has one of the following causes:
Electrical conditions are preventing the primary ATmega328P microcontroller on the UNO R3 board from running.
The bootloader program that should be present on the ATmega328P microcontroller is either missing or corrupted.
It is possible that the first of these could be caused by a short or external circuitry connected to the Arduino board.
Make sure the board is not sitting on anything conductive that could short the contacts on the bottom of the board. Make sure there isn't any conductive debris (e.g., strands of wire or component leads) on the board or on the surface the board is sitting on.
If you have a shield or any external circuitry or components connected to your Arduino board, try this experiment:
Disconnect the USB cable of the Arduino board from your computer.
Disconnect any shields, modules, external circuitry, etc. from your board.
Connect the Arduino board to your computer with a USB cable.
Now press the reset button again. Does the LED blink several times quickly now?
This experiment will determine whether the upload error was caused by interference from your external circuitry. If so, you can then focus your attention on identifying the specific problem with the circuit and resolving it.

Please be as specific as possible as some Arduino boards with similar names have significant differences and the forum helpers can only provide effective assistance if we are aware of which one is being used.

I bought this Arduino in an app named "Mercado Libre" and there's no reference about the provider, it supposes the vendor is RexQualis (from www.rexqualis.com), that's all I know. I hope it helps you.
OK, that is good. The blink after reset eliminates some possible causes of the upload error. We now know two things:
The primary microcontroller on the board is running
The bootloader program that handles sketch uploads is present on the microcontroller.
Now we move on to investigating other possible causes of the error.
This error might be caused by having the wrong port selected from the Tools > Port menu in Arduino IDE.
Please perform this experiment to verify that the port you have selected is your Arduino board:
Disconnect the USB cable of the Arduino board from your computer.
Select Tools > Port from the Arduino IDE menus.
Take note of the ports, if any, listed in the menu.
Close the Tools menu. The ports list is only updated when the Tools menu is re-opened, so this step is essential.
Connect the Arduino board to your computer with a USB cable.
Select Tools > Port from the Arduino IDE menus. - If a new port is listed in the menu, that is the port of your Arduino board.
Select that port from the menu and try uploading again.
If the upload still fails, or if no new port appeared after you plugged the Arduino board into your computer, add a reply here to let us know and we'll investigate the problem further.
