Hello all
Dug out several old Arduino Nanos that I bought years back for an experiment last weekend.
Result: 2 Nanos (328) that came up with "USB Device not recognized"
Same story with all comps and several different USB cables.
Now, probably these have been bitten with the FTDI bug aka missing ground on test pin.
However, shorting pin 25 & 26 doesnt seem to help. Havent soldered yet, just held a pin firmly between the 25 and 26 pins.
Using simultaneous external power on GND and VIN doesn't cut it either.
I'd like to hear what ppl have done to knock some sense back into their Nanos or will I just have to use the ICSP ?
Also, is there a way of debugging/probing whether the FTDI chip is indeed at fault ? I have an oscilloscope and a logic analyser.
