Again about Arduino Copter: tricopter

I built an Arduino Tricopter with multiwii 2.4.
The problem is only the servo.
Then I cut servo's PWM wire to see if it can take off. yes it takes off very well and stable.
I then tried to play with left and right stick of Flysky TX. Hey, it works. it can take off and fly.

First test with no servo = good
Second test with no servo = good
Third test with no servo = the copter turned around and become unstable.
Question: Why did it suddenly turns around (spinning in a circle)? I checked it for a day but no luck.

Direction (motors and propellers).

But I cut servo's PWM wire.

I will update the detail tomorrow. Now is 10:31 PM here.
:rose:

It would be more conventional for the 2 front rotors to be turning in opposite directions. This avoids the need for the tail to be tilted as much to counter the tendency for the copter to rotate

To be honest I an surprised that it flew at all without the servo connected and it certainly would not be stable except perhaps at a particular power setting for the two front rotors

Okay, I will try it.

I will upload a demo link later.

Solved. Front left motor was broken. I change it and it worked.
Left motor turned with slow RPM. I wished I could have repaired my broken motor without buying a new one.

  1. I cut servo wired

  2. The motor tilted forward about 10 degrees

I will upload a demo link later.
