This device, shown here and elsewhere, is shown here to be used with the ESP-201 breakouts to allow Arduino IDE...
It is $50USD, though... 
Can one be made, or perhaps an equivalent available? I noticed only 4 pins are needed (the 4 on the end of the board)...
