Hi guys.
I have an optecal encoder that I got from an old printer.
I tested it to see the value of the output voltage, and I noticed that the voltage does not change much.
I don't understand why the results are coming out like this.
I fed the optecal encoder with a voltage of 3.3v.
Is there a mistake I made or are the results correct?
Images have not properly uploaded. If this is a "slotted opto", as well as powering the emitter side you have to connect a pullup resistor to the phototransistor to 3.3 or 5v. There should also be a current-limiting resistor in series with the LED on the emitter side.

Doesn't help at all I'm afraid. What are you measuring?
If you click on them, they appear.
This is probably the important one;
What does the other side of the encoder look like, what does the other socket do?
Possibly supply the encoder LED(s)?
