the developer(s) probably skipped over some documentation or made a conscious decision to only focused on iPhone...

But yeah it could have iPad friendly version so people won’t be looking elsewhere

you need to scroll down and there are details, you'll probably see iPhone, iPod touch and Mac (version > 11.0 on apple silicon) in the "compatibility" section

I'm not using the Arduino cloud so can't say I would need it, but it's usually a good practice to develop an iOS app that offers an adaptative interface. There are so many iPhone sizes anyway those days that it's not a lost investment ....

Don't they have also a web view that would be more usable in Safari?

I develop my own apps on iOS or just use a web app.
