Hello Everyone ,
I'm starting with mounting LED lighting across my house. At the moment it all works well. The challenge I have is to make appropriate power supply.A one that is extensible with any extra connections I would like to make.
At the moment I got computer power supply that is capable of providing 12A nd 200W in total (of course it is much more than me or me and my neighbors need ) , case for it , cables , fan etc.
What I seek is advice if design I have in mind for LED stripes (or any other 12V devices) is feasible.
My plan would be :
- to run cable from the lines that come out of the Power supply (PSU) into the PCB board and then to respective npn transistors and connectors. In order to use micro-controller to have control over the power
- Use banana plugs to connect devices to respective connections available on the box
- Maybe use ACS712 with LCD for current control.
Any design advice are much appreciated
