Hey there everyone Im looking to see if this project is feasable, or if i should look at another way of doing it.
I have
-Arduino Ethernet Shield
-Arduino Duemilanove
-USB Host Shield
-USB barcode reader
I am looking to scan items and upload them to a database. Idealy scanning items in and out so i can keep and inventory of what I have.
I have seen that is Arduino cannot function with the USB reader but with some hacking one with a PS/2 connection could be used.
Any insight would help me out. Where can i find more information, what sort of database should i use. Anything at all would help.
