Is Arduino ever going to make products similar to LilyGo?
There hardware is nice but it seems like you have to jump through hoops to get it to work.
Sorry for this being in the wrong section. I’m too stupid to figure out how to select the correct category without selecting a sub category that I don’t want from the search bar.
This is an LED matrix, so it has a much lower resolution (12x7) than an LCD or OLED display (e.g., the GIGA Display Shield is 480x800), but it makes up for it in brilliance!
For low-end Arduino the usual display is Serial Monitor.
If I jump through simple hoops I can use a Terminal Emulator like PuTTY.
For low end stand-alone displays, 20x4 LCD with serial backpack works well. They run fast text on graphic screens, bog on big pics.
If your duino has wifi, jump the hoops to interface with a phone. How many old phones are there not connected to a service and not traded in? I think I have 2, a 3G and a 4G or maybe a 5. IIUC they don’t even need to be unlocked just to use wifi.
There are limitations in where you can post, it has nothing to do with "being stupid". If a main category contains sub categories you can't post in that main category; if you can it's usually due to an oversight by the administrator.
Just take your time, scroll through the categories on the main page and pick one that seems the most suitable. When you hover over a category you will get some information what the category is about / intended for.
