To my surprise it seems that there is currently no replacement for the Arduino Ethernet Rev3 with PoE, at least as far as I can tell.
What I'm looking for is a cheap and as small as possible Arduino board to connect to motion detectors/glass break sensors etc which can connect to Ethernet through a standard RJ-45 connector (or soldered if needs be) and can be powered through Ethernet (active PoE, not using spare wires or anything like that).
Is this still available somewhere?
The only solution I currently find is to use an Arduino Ethernet Shield 2 with PoE daughter board, together with an Arduino UNO or similar.

You never got the original Arduino Ethernet PoE much cheaper.

It's not an Arduino but you can program it with the Arduino IDE. What functionality do you need that the ESP doesn't offer you?
