Arduino & Foto-Flashlight

Hi Guys,
i only found one thread for this topic
http://www.arduino.cc/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1222123242
and would likt to ask if somebody has experience with conecting a external Camera Flashlight, like this:

to the Arduino to make it go off after a other sensor input.

From what i found the elements are a opto-isolater which is connectet to the arduino and to one contact of the flashlight:

Is this actually all you need?

Thanks!

I wouldn't connect my Arduino directly to a flashgun.

You're going to need something like a MOC 3020 optotriac

I've seen tons of camera flash hacks, so it's certainly possible to control/trigger from an external flash. Which one are you trying to do?

I'd hit up the Make blog, instructables, and hack-a-day. I read these, and seriously I've seen at least a dozen implementations of flash control.
