hello , im planning on building a DIY inflatable pillow from scratch i want to know what types of sensors and components i'd need and an idea about the programme i'll have to write
You are jumping way ahead on your project. Tell us first about your pillow, the material and the volume and the pressure. Then tell us about the air compressor and it's power requirements. Then we can discuss Arduino programming.
I wonder what the purpose of an Arduino-controlled "inflatable pillow" could be, never heard. ![]()
Anyway, you mean something like this below?
sort of, but im trying to controll the whole pumping/vaccuming with a 9 or 12V dc pump vaccum
Hi, @aymanch000
Welcome to the forum.
Why do you need a vacuum pump?
What pressure are you expecting in the pillow?
If the pillow is for sleep, have you a pump that is silent?
Can you please tell us your electronics, programming, arduino, hardware experience?
Have you programmed an Arduino before?
Thanks.. Tom..

I guess to suck the air so it takes up less room, but what will your proposed system aim to do with this pillow ??
I still wonder what's your "real" target, anyway the video I have linked before does something like that. If you don't want to share any detail about your goal, we don't want to go on guessing. So either describe your project in full details, or close this thread.
