Arduino Mega 2560 16u2 doesn't get DFU mode

Hello, I am really very new to this and I just want to make a MIDI controller with arduino, I ordered mine and followed all the steps to be able to make it enter DFU mode and when I made contact with the pins nothing happened

Can I put it into DFU mode through software? I need to update the driver to use ATmel flip

What steps ? to use a Mega as a USB midi device you need to upload a different bootloader to the 16u2 after which you can not program the atmega 2560 through USB anymore. it is not practical for beginners.

Prebacivanje Arduino u DFU

Just connect those pins and make it going into DFU mode and then update it with Atmel flip
