Arduino mega with CH340G chip not recongnized

Hi,

This board was working but it stopped working and each time I connect the board to the PC is shows "USB device not recognized". Like this:

I uninstalled then re-installed the CH341SER driver but same result.

So my guess is that the CH340G is broken. Do you suggest me to buy some CH340G ships and replace the current one ?

You can try to reinstall the chip driver, see Using Arduino IDE with unofficial Arduino clones bearing CH340 chip | by Andrey Semenyuk | Dev Genius

Tried all of them but same result.

Is there an older version of this driver ? It could be the source of the problem I guess.

What version of Windows?

Windows 10
64-bit

Did you catch an update recently?

Yes but the problem is before. And if it was because of an update, then it would be one of last updates.

But I have a laptop which has a Linux in it. Let me test it with the Linux to know if Win10 is the cause of the problem.

OK, I opened my Linux and connected the board and worked with no issues. And it's even faster with the one in Win10.

So, it's a driver issue. Now what to do ?
