Arduino micro power drop

I have tp4508 battery charger inline with a 3.7v lipo and an mt3608 upconvertor.

With the arduino micro pro disconnected i get 5.1v on my vccline.
When i plug in the arduino it drops to 3.9

The output of the mt3608 os connected to the vcc pin.

Any idea why the voltage is dropping?(no sensors attached)

Ive swapped batteries. No idea whats wrong. Do i need to provide 7v to raw and then the vcc can be used to feed my sensors?

What do the datasheets say for the tp4508 and mt3608 voltage drop? I will hazard a guess everything is in spec.

  • What voltage does the lipo drop to ?

  • What is the MT3608 set to ?

  • Measure the output current on the MT3608
