Arduino Nano - Conveyor

Hi,

Iv been trying to make some sort of representation of a assembly line with three station on a breadboard using an arduino Nano. At each station there is 2 leds and a potentiometer(USED AS SWITCHES FOR PASS/FAIL AT STATION). The green leds are to represent good/ pass to next station and the and red is a fail then removed from the station and is not carried over to the next. When parts go to the next station I will need short delay too, as well I need two counters, 1 for when at the 3rd station and that part is good it will count and one for a total of all failed parts per station. I required a master start/stop too.

Im pretty confident in my wiring to the Nano but with my basic knowledge of programming I am not having too much trouble with the counters, start/stop and the potentiometers working in my program i just feel i am approaching this the wrong way as iv been playing with loop conditions for too long to not see any results. If anyone can assist or provide me some sort of code that would extreme useful it will be appreciated. I have attached my inputs and a photo of my circuit.

Thank you

I hate to say this, but I just read that 3 times and have no idea what it means.

Please read the post at the top on how to use this forum - pay special attention on how to post code - expecting people to download pictures of your program is not good and a lot of extra hassle for people to try and help you. Also a wiring diagram is good - hand sketch is fine

(I cant open the pix on my mobile)

The pictures are of code.(at least the one I downloaded to my phone was)

Text makes for much smaller posts.

Here's the OP's pix:

OP I think it would help the forum to help you if you described an actual sequence of activity that you undertake during your "sort of representation of a assembly line with three station".

You will also need to post the code as text so it can be copied into the IDE.

a potentiometer(USED AS SWITCHES FOR PASS/FAIL AT STATION).

I'm sure there's a reason for using pots as switches, but right now I'm wondering why you didn't just use switches.

A quick study of the operation of a state machine might be assistance to you as well.

Hi,
Welcome to the forum.

Please read the first post in any forum entitled how to use this forum.
http://forum.arduino.cc/index.php/topic,148850.0.html .
Then look down to item #7 about how to post your code.
It will be formatted in a scrolling window that makes it easier to read.

Can you please post a copy of your circuit, in CAD or a picture of a hand drawn circuit in jpg, png?

Thanks.. Tom...
