Arduino plane

Using Arduino Project Guidance

So i fly rc planes alot and was wondering is the a way i could hook my arduino up to the plane to control it (not the throttle just the servos) and switch between arduino control and my transmitter control? I have not idea where to start any info is welcome. Thanks
