Hello,
I'm doing a school project and need to be able to remotely control a shock collar through Arduino. I have been trying to follow the directions laid out in this video, Arduino Controlled Shock Collar - useful for BDSM/predicament toys! - YouTube. I copied all the code, bought the recommended shock collar and this 433 mhz radio transmitter (https://usa.banggood.com/Geekcreit-433Mhz-RF-Decoder-Transmitter-With-Receiver-Module-Kit-For-ARM-MCU-Wireless-Geekcreit-for-Arduino-products-that-work-with-official-Arduino-boards-p-74102.html?utm_source=googleshopping&utm_medium=cpc_organic&gmcCountry=US&utm_content=minha&utm_campaign=minha-usg-pc¤cy=USD&cur_warehouse=CN&createTmp=1&utm_source=googleshopping&utm_medium=cpc_bgcs&utm_content=sandra&utm_campaign=sandra-ssc-usg-all-newcustom-ncv90-0420-19cov&ad_id=432153545270&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIv9vO8_es9AIVgs3ICh0JtQ7lEAQYASABEgLCEPD_BwE) It's not exactly the same as the one he used in the video but I don't see why it should make a difference. I set up the arduino in exactly the same way using the code in the video discription but it won't pair to the shock collar. Any suggestions? I know the questions are very broad so if I haven't been clear in any way please don't hesitate to ask me for clarification. Thanks in advance for any help you can give.
"pair" almost always implies bluetooth. The radio module you linked is just a transmitter module with a receiver module.

Please read the forum introduction messages. What you are describing, is not at all the way you are supposed to ask a question.
You should find members of this forum to be reluctant to help with a project that, potentially, may cause harm to someone.
