Hi community,
I need some tips for a project I want to do, and I don't have any idea how to do it. What I want to do is a toy gun, which can be connected via USB to the PC/Laptop, and will be used to take over the mouse, for any shooting game. So I have no idea how the arduino in the gun will know where it is aiming on the screen of the computer. What do you suggest? Is there any trick to do that?
Of course, once I get a solution for that, then there will be a desktop application running on the computer, which comunicates with the arduino, so the arduino will tell that app where it is aiming.
I know maybe I would need a more advanced monitor with some sort of sensor that senses where the gun is pointing at, but the idea is it should work with any single monitor, so that isn't the way I am looking for. I need the gun with any sensor or whatever knows where is it pointing on any screen somehow. Is it possible?
Thanks in advance.
Regards
