arduino to labview

hi there I'm trying to link my Arduino uno to labview for a project I am trying to do. but I cant seem to be able get it to work. I'm fairly new to Arduino and only know the very basics of how to use them
I have been following this video but cant seem to get it working. my light on the Arduino stays on constant. is there any easy steps or videos to follow to get this working?
