Arduino uncertified

Hello,

I have an arduino board which is genuine (bought from a international distributor). The problem is, or it isn't really a problem but either way, once I plug it into the computer and I am going to upload the code, it says /dev/tty bla bla and then Arduino UNO - Uncertified. Is this some kind of bug with the latest software cause it has been so in every release so far. I bought the arduino for about three months ago if that makes any sense and help. Thanks a lot.

Again, not really a problem just wanted to know whether it is software dependent or hardware.

If you bought an Arduino made by Arduino.org and use the IDE from Arduino.cc you will get this warning message. You can safely ignore the warning.

BTW we removed that warning in version 1.6.4. Updating the IDE is an option as well

Yes. Thanks!

Right, because in the latest version I am using now there isn't any warning. Just for the older IDE versions I used
