Hello electricfriends
I have a problem!
i want programm my AtTiny45 wit hmy arduino uno, all is ok. I uploaded the ArduinoISP file and then i want upload the example - blink. I setup all things like board and so on, but when i upload, the led on the testpin from the attiny45 (pin 0) blink for a micrsecond and then she is off. btw, followed error shows me the arduino ide:
Binäre Sketchgröße: 754 Bytes (von einem Maximum von 4.096 Bytes)
avrdude: please define PAGEL and BS2 signals in the configuration file for part ATtiny45
avrdude: Yikes! Invalid device signature.
** Double check connections and try again, or use -F to override**
** this check.**
PLEASE HELP ME, thx

avrdude: please define PAGEL and BS2 signals in the configuration file for part ATtiny45
This error message can be ignored.
Try triplecheck your connections, or move the Attiny to another spot on your breadboard.
I have made a litlle recipe here:
http://www.ernstc.dk/arduino/attiny85.html
Edit: and the pinout are the same for Attiny45 and Attiny85

the connection from your image have i. i have the same pins for each pin, all the same, what now? what is the "use -F ..." in the error?
pls help a second time, thx

Did you connect the capacitor from reset to ground?
To be able to troubleshoot it would be easyer if you connected the 3 LED's mentioned in the ISP sketch, and tell us how they behave
And:
What core are you using
Which arduino version

i have installed the led's, the green is on, and i use the arduino version 1.0.2
the cor, i have this one : Google Code Archive - Long-term storage for Google Code Project Hosting.

the green is on
Do you mean the LED connected to pin9, it should fade up and down, known as heartbeat.
I still think you have some connection problems, try ton wriggle the tiny in the breadboard and do the same with your jumperwires.
I hav not tried version 1.02, maybe others can comment whether there are some changes that affect the ArduinoISP.

thx for help, but 1.: what do you mean with try ton wriggle?
2.: what does the use -F in the error mean?

-F is an avrdude flag. Basically you cant set it with arduino, only from command line. But you don't need or want to set it, all it tells avrdude to do is to ignore any verification error and continue on regarless - this will NOT help as whatever the current problem is will still be there and you will just end up with a corrupted chip.
Could you post a picture of your wiring so we can check it. It sounds like there is a loose connection somewhere or you have connected something up to the wrong place.
Also could you go to File->Preferences, and then check the box for 'upload' next to 'show verbose output during'. Then try programming again and copy and paste here what the messages you get in the black window at the bottm.
Also, check you have the correct programmer selected (Tools->Programmer->Arduino as ISP) and the correct Serial port (Tools->Serial Port). Finally, make sure you have selected ATTiny45 as the board (Tools->Board), and that you are using 'Upload Using Programmer' (File->Upload using programmer).

the led dont blink!
here my code:
/*
Blink
Turns on an LED on for one second, then off for one second, repeatedly.
This example code is in the public domain.
*/
// Pin 13 has an LED connected on most Arduino boards.
// give it a name:
int led = 0;
// the setup routine runs once when you press reset:
void setup() {
// initialize the digital pin as an output.
pinMode(led, OUTPUT);
}
// the loop routine runs over and over again forever:
void loop() {
digitalWrite(led, HIGH); // turn the LED on (HIGH is the voltage level)
delay(1000); // wait for a second
digitalWrite(led, LOW); // turn the LED off by making the voltage LOW
delay(1000); // wait for a second
}
have i define the right pin for the var led ? (pin 0)
here my construction:

You need a 10k pullup resistor on the reset pin of the ATTiny (10k resistor from pin1 of ATTiny45 to +5v)

Note that on all my attiny's there is a small dot in the plastic, this is pin 1
When I have that kind of errors I find that the easyist way to check that the programmer (Arduino in this case) is communicating with the Attiny, is to use a avrdude on a commandline
Try this:
Open a command prompt and type
avrdude -pattiny45 -Pcom20 -b19200 -carduino -v
Or show the verbose output that Tom Carpenter asked you about
