Arduino UNO only running the previous code even after uploading the new one

I have an Arduino UNO SMD it was working fine. A few days ago I tested my DHT11 sensor and it worked. Today I was staring to do work in a new project so I uploaded my code to the Arduino it showed that the code was uploaded but I soon realized that it was running the code of DHT sensor, the way i realized that is when i checked the Serial monitor, it wad printing data that was in the my DHT sensor code. So can you tell me what is going on

try to upload blink and paste the compilation output (copy and paste here with code tags)

Welcome to the forum

Disconnect everything from the board. Upload the Blink example. Copy the text from the bottom window of the IDE that is output during the upload. Does the Blink code work ?

this often happens to me when the compilation fails
(i don't know why the IDE (1.8) runs the code in this case)
