ARDUINO UNO R3 is not showing COM in windows

guys i bought a new ARUINO UNO R3 when i connected it with my project the ic become hot & all leds worked.i disconnected it soon , later when i connected it to computer i was not able to see COM port in device manager. When i opened Arduino IDE

Arduino 1.0.6 i was not able to see serial port .I tried it on different computers & different cables the same problem exsisted .HOW TO SOLVE IT ?
