Hi Everyone,
I am trying to figure out how to use my ADXL362 Accelerometer (SparkFun Triple Axis Accelerometer Breakout - ADXL362 - SEN-11446 - SparkFun Electronics) with my Arduino Uno using the AD325V20 8-Bit Bidirectional Voltage-Level Translator (http://www.technologicalarts.ca/shop/store/details/564/13/adapters/breakout-board,-level-shifter,-3v/5v,-8-channel.html) since it seems the accelerometer requires I/O voltage ranges from 1.6 V to 3.5V.
I've been following the guide here: ADXL362 Arduino How-To - Documents - MEMS Inertial Sensors - EngineerZone and I am trying to get a reading from my accelerometer by using the ADXL362 Arduino Library (ADXL362 by annem), but so far I've had no luck with getting any data values other than zeros (I'm testing the accelerometer using the ADXL362_SimpleRead example).
I'm not sure what I am doing wrong, but I know I'm not by any means close to an expert when it comes to creating circuits, so it is entirely possible that I may be hooking these devices up incorrectly.
I currently have wires from the Arduino pins 10-13 connected to B1-B4 pins on the translator, and wires from the A1-A4 translator pins going in order to the CS, MOSI, MISO, and SCK pins on the accelerometer. I also have the translator and accelerometer connected to GND with the translator taking in 5V power to Vccb and 3.3V power to Vcca, and the V+ accelerometer pin connected to Vcca.
