Audio trigger board advice

Long and short is that I'm making a cosplay soon I want to create a audio trigger board that will play from a bank of audio files on the board.

I'm getting very lost with all the different types of programmable boards small boards etc etc... I just want one button that I am able to use and have it randomly pick an audio file and play it.

I found a few boards that look rather promising for the price if anyone could advise me what they think regarding these boards or what would be a better fit that would be great and or whether or not these boards can be programmed to do random selection as most of them have multiple trigger outputs, but I only need the one and I see the example picture showing trigger one MP3 trigger two MP3 etc...

I'm not so much worried about the cost nor about putting it together sourcing speakers etc I'm just lost that do these boards do what I'm after with a one button solution over multiple?

My idea being one button hidden underneath a glove that I can press as and when and have it trigger a sound effect out of the bank of six for example!
My other question is do they require any of the boards except for say power?

I

You mean six buttons, one for each sound? Or one button? In the latter case, how would the system know which of the six sounds to play?

Are you willing/able to do microcontroller programming to get your project done, or are you looking for a solution that will work out of the box with just a few wires and a couple of buttons?

Please post links to the devices instead of screenshots; this helps us to dig into what information is available on them.
