Hello everyone,
i'm having trouble with my arduino nano every board that i just recently curchased.
The first time i plugged it in and wanted to run bare minimum to test it, the code down below popped up.
What does that mean? Do i need to install a new 'programmer'?
And does anybody know why it doesn't work from the beginning, if it supposed to be a brand new product.
I already purchased a second one for comparison but the same problem accurs...
I use the correct port, board and one of these blue coding cables.
Help would be highly apprechiated!

That list of programmers to support is horrendous. Anyway, I just happen to have a Nano Every by me. I'm using Arduino IDE 1.8.19 and it clearly finds the programmer jtag2updi and proceeds to load and run the blink sketch.
Which IDE version are you using ?

And maybe check in the Boards Manager that you have a reasonably new version of the Arduino MegaAVR Boards:
I am using the newest 2.0 version but also tried it out on the 1.8.19 version.
Same problem, same code....
Maybe i can manually install the programmer in the right folder?
I already tried reinstalling the program, without any success.
Maybe i just didnt get rid of everything?
Note that i have my library and sketch files in a different place in my computer.
Maybe it has something to do with that?
Thjo i never had any issues with my Uno regarding that...
I upload via. micro USB cable to my Nano Every.
Thats why im a little confused. I thought the Nano Every had a integrated programmer.
In Preferences have you checked verbose output during upload, and that is what you posted?
I now checkmarked the upload option and the same code with a data path comes up after trying to upload.
What do you have where?
Only the downloaded libraries like IRremote, used for programming different modules. i figured it would not impact my problem. Also sketches of past projects, nothing else. Just pretty irrelevant stuff imo.

You have not posted the verbose output from compile, but is your megaavr core also in Arduino 15?
Using board 'nona4809' from platform in folder: C:\Users\Richard\AppData\Local\Arduino15\packages\arduino\hardware\megaavr\1.8.7
its the exact same as yours, also a 1.8.7 with many files inside.
Im starting to think that the files are ok and im doing something very obvious wrong...

Another thing that i realized: Im using a single port from my notebook.
My old EELEGO Uno was connected to port COM3
For my Nano Every it detects COM6
and for my new Arduino Uno (At least thats working correctly) COM5
Is that normal? Maybe my notebook is the cause of my problem?
I suppose you could also try going into the "Boards Manager", uninstalling the "Arduino megaAVR Boards" entry which supports the Nano Every etc., restarting the PC and then again reinstalling the "Arduino megaAVR Boards" entry. Tell us also which version of "Arduino megaAVR Boards" is installed. The screen shot in post #2 is NOT the latest.
