Using Arduino Avrdude, stk500, Bootloader issues

avrdude: jtagmkII_initialize(): Cannot locate "flash" and "boot" memories in description.

I am using Arduino Nano Every. Every time I upload the code, I get this warning/error. I have tried using a brand new nano every as well. The warning is still there.

Is there anything wrong in my code?
Or am I missing any mandatory settings on the ide (arduino software)?
