I have a project that connects a barcode scanner with arduino uno R3 using usb host shield. The usb host shield already has power and can be used to turn on the led. My problem is that the barcode scanner does not want to connect to the usb host shield. The scanner does not turn on at all when connected to the usb host shield.
How much 5 volt power can your host shield supply?
