I'm new to electronics. I'm using Arduino Uno to operate HY-SRF05 and SG90 for distance detection. What kind of batterie should I use for them?
I use two 18650 batteries for servo, HC-SR04 and two motors. When you use an external power supply, be sure to tie grounds together (for a reference point).

I cannot answer that question. You have not supplied enough technical information on the hardware items or links to the technical information for them. You have not told us what additional hardware will be connected. You have not told us how long they need to run before recharge or replacement. No clue as to what the ambient temperatures will be.
I apologize for that. I want to add distance detection system to my robot. (using HY-SRF05 and SG90) I've already used 9V battery for the arduino and 3AA batteries for motors. Therefore, detection system will stop operating once I disconnected it from the computer.
I think the power supply is not enough to operate the system.
Thank you for the suggestion.
But I think 18650 batteries are quite expensive compare to AA battery, Is 5xAA battery pack ok to operate the system?
My servo requires 4.8V and for HY-SRF05 3.3V-5V.
You are right about 18650 - I get mine from "bad" e-bike batteries (free).
5xAA is good.
It is your 9V battery, connect the cable and disconnect that I would expect it to operate assuming nothing else is powered with the 9V battery. Get something with more capacity. If you do not have a DVM (Digital Volt Meter) you need to get one, they can be very inexpensive. Measure the 9V at the battery and do not be surprised if it drops to about 5V, depending on battery condition.
