"Best" GPS for Velocity Monitoring?

Hey all!

Which, in your opinion, GPS module gives the best bang for buck? Here are my constraints:

  • Accurate velocity monitoring (0.1 m/s or so)
  • Ideally an external antenna (I want the electronics inside a waterproof metal container [read: Faraday Cage])
  • Low power consumption (will be powered with a handful of 9V's)
  • Anything else is gravy!

My initial search yielded Adafruit's solution: Adafruit Ultimate GPS Breakout - 66 channel w/10 Hz updates [PA1616S] : ID 746 : $29.95 : Adafruit Industries, Unique & fun DIY electronics and kits
But that seems expensive; I can find it as cheap as $9: http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/182052676717?lpid=82&chn=ps&ul_noapp=true
This one seems like a good middle-of-the-road option: http://www.miniinthebox.com/gy-gps6mv1-gps-apm2-5-module-with-antenna-deep-blue-3-5v_p1412618.html

There are just so many options out there! I am having a tough time deciding on what seem like equivalent devices. What are your thoughts?

Neo6m GPS module

I have 2 of these and they work well for me. Software is available from Ubox to view the data and configure the module (Ucenter) if desired.

Thank you, groundfungus!
I got a couple of them off Amazon, 2-day shipping. Will report back when I get them, in case anyone comes across this thread with the same question.
