Which is the the best, most accurate and most durable etc ultrasonic sensor to buy?

Hard to say but based on what manufacturers claim , here's what I've heard :
SRF05 has 2 mm precision (that's what they say , sounds impossible)
US-100 has 3mm precision (that's what they say , sounds impossible)
US-020 has 3mm precision (that's what they say , sounds impossible)
and no info on HCSR04 but I guess its more than 1mm , otherwise they would've written in the description 
I'd say the sort used for medical scanners.
They're durable, proof against moisture, high power, incredibly accurate.
Industrial ultrasonics . I thought only normal ultrasonics .
Depends what is the ultrasonic going to do , if it's avoiding a wall , 1mm or 10mm makes no difference as you should order the robot to turn with 20cm distance .
Just make sure it's Arduino-compatible and works with the NewPing or some other library .
