Best way to expand Arduino PWM abilities?

Hey,

I have 3 RGB leds that I want to control separately. What is the best way to get more PWM controls hooked up for the arduino?

I am hoping for some kind of shield / serial module that would expand pwm outputs quite a bit.

Does something like that exist?

Google Dawm Sheild. There's a kit available which does what you ask.

Or if you're feeling brave, get hold of the TLC5940NT PDIP chip. It gives you 16 PWM sinks which can drive anything like servos and LEDs.

The TLC is very easy to get working, Good first step onto harder projects

I’d go with the TLC chip. You get an extra 16 outputs with PWM and it’s dead easy to use. There is a nice library for it too.
