Im trying to use a BME280 & it always reads 0 for the humidity. I have tried several different library's.
I have also tried several different BME280's & they all read the same 0 for humidity all other readings work.
Any help would be appreciated.
I would help if you specify at the very least what you tried.
OP mentions "everything else works" which I assume means reading temperature and pressure, and that would in turn mean the sensor is connected properly.
Maybe OP is mixing up the BMP280 with the BME280? Only the second can do humidity.

I think I found the answer to my issue.
This is the sensor I bought from Amazon, see attached picture.
GY-BME280-3.3 High Precision I2C SPI Breakout Barometric Pressure Temperature Humidity Digital Sensor Module Board
If I get a magnifying glass it looks like there is a small black dot next to the P, it should be next to the E.
I'm thinking that either they sent the wrong one or they have the description wrong.
On the photo you attached the black dot is next to the E.
Do look carefully at the sensor itself, to see if it's BME or BMP there.
