Building a ROV. FIber optics anyone ?

Hello,

Is there some way to connect Arduinos serially via fiber optics ?

I suppose there should be something like a fiber optics tranceiver and some IC that drives it ?

If anybody could roughly advise what to buy and how to connect them, Im sure I can Google it from there,
