Hi there, I'm building 5 multiple shift register boards for controlling 200 outputs. each board controls 40 outputs, and I'm hoping to streamline it so I can just use stacking headers to stack the boards on top of each other to make the necessary Arduino connections. I'm not sure how to do this effectively though and was wondering if there were any relevant tutorials for making stacking boards. I think i'd have to alternate the side of the board that the connectors were on, so that it wouldn't cross over in the wrong places. This is a doublesided board, and the prototype is built so that there's ribbon cable that will tether the boards together. It would be nice if the boards just stacked together with the headers instead of using standoffs and ribbon cable. The final board will be professionally made.
Thanks for any advice!
