avrdude: Yikes! Invalid device signature.
Double check connections and try again, or use -F to override
this check.

avrdude done. Thank you.

Failed chip erase: uploading error: exit status 1

Device Signature = 0x000000 means, the chip is not detected. Check the connections.

What programmer are you using?

hii i am using another atmega2560 as a programmer and i have turned it into a programmer

note : i succeeded to burn the bootloader before and uploading a sketch , and it works .but now i refuses to burn the bootloader and burning the sketch .

i checked the connections and it looks good to me

Well as @jobitjoseph indicated 000000 usually means bad wiring somewhere.

i suspect that the atmega chip is bad , i will try to replace it and see

Let us know what happens if you care to

hii indeed as i suspected some how the atmega chip got damaged thats why it replied with zeros , i replace it to a new chip , and was able to burn the bootloader and load new sketch into it

Glad you gor it working
Have a nice day!
